Rzeczyce
In May 2024, we acquired an agricultural biogas plant project in Rzeczyce that was already under construction. The investment had been initiated by the previous owner, and as the new entity responsible for its delivery, we are continuing the works with the objective of commissioning the installation in the second quarter of 2025.
The biogas plant will be based on agricultural feedstock, including waste originating from a pig farming operation, enabling its efficient management and conversion into biogas. High-efficiency combined heat and power (CHP) generation will allow for the production of 1 MW of electricity, while the heat generated in the process will be utilized, among others, by a local livestock facility. The digestate produced as a by-product of fermentation will be used as a natural fertilizer for surrounding farms.
Our plans for 2025–2026 include further development of the project, including the expansion of the facility with additional fermenters and the conversion of the biogas plant into a modern biomethane plant powered exclusively by green energy.
