Transforming Poland through bioenergy

Our ambition is to become the undisputed leader of the bioenergy transition. We are building Poland’s energy independence by harnessing the domestic potential of biogas derived from waste, enabling decentralized production of clean energy and biomethane. Operating locally with a global perspective, we support communities, protect the climate and help create a better future for generations to come.

Neo Bio Energy is a market leader in landfill gas biogas and a strategic investor in anaerobic digestion and biomethane projects

We are dynamically expanding our footprint in the agricultural and municipal biogas sectors. We specialize in the development and operation of biogas plants. Currently, we manage a portfolio of eight anaerobic digestion facilities.

Our operating assets include biogas plants located in Grzmiąca (West Pomeranian Voivodeship) with a capacity of 1.6 MW, Piaski (Lublin Voivodeship) – 1 MW, Koło – 0.5 MW, Żórawin (Lower Silesian Voivodeship) – 2 MW, and Borzęciczki – 1.2 MW.

A new biogas plant is under development in Rzeczyce (Silesian Voivodeship) with an installed capacity of 1 MW, with commissioning planned in the near term. In parallel, we are delivering the construction of a 1 MW biogas facility in Bobolice. In cooperation with the Celowy Związek Gmin R-XXI, we have also established Neo Biogas R-XXI Łobez, a special-purpose company responsible for the design and construction of a modern anaerobic digestion facility for green and municipal waste in Łobez.

We are Poland’s No. 1 landfill gas operator

We own and operate every third landfill gas installation in Poland. These facilities account for more than 80% of the electricity generated nationwide from landfill biogas. The total installed capacity of NBE’s power generation assets currently stands at 23 MW.

We look to the future with confidence, with landfill biogas plants forming a stable and strategic pillar of our business.

Supported by an experienced management team and highly qualified specialists, as well as our in-house maintenance facilities and spare parts warehouse, we are a recognized leader in the biogas sector. The operational efficiency of our generation units reaches up to 98%. In 2025, energy production across NBE’s installations amounted to nearly 250 GWh, equivalent to the annual electricity demand of a city with a population of approximately 100,000.

Our installations deploy advanced technological solutions tailored to the specific requirements of both landfill gas and anaerobic digestion biogas plants, processing bio-waste originating from the food industry, agriculture and the municipal sector.

The operation of our facilities makes a tangible contribution to CO₂ emissions reduction, improved energy efficiency and the strengthening of energy independence, in line with the principles of sustainable development.
